Getting a boat out of the water and to where it needs to be is often the hardest part of the job to arrange. We provide boat transport and haul-out support in Fort Myers and across Southwest Florida for service, restoration, seasonal moves and storm preparation.

Every Move Is Planned Individually
Transport requirements vary a lot from boat to boat. Size, beam, weight, trailer configuration, the route and any permitting needs all affect how a boat is moved. We plan each move individually so the boat is protected and the right equipment is used. When you call, have the boat’s length, beam, approximate weight and current location handy.
Storm season
Hurricane Preparation and Recovery
When a storm is heading for Southwest Florida, owners want their boats out of harm’s way. We can support hurricane preparation and recovery, including scheduled haul-out, transportation, shrink wrapping and storage coordination when available. Space and equipment fill up fast once a storm is forecast, so the best time to plan is before the season starts in June. Pairing a haul-out with shrink wrap gives the boat another layer of protection while it sits.
After a storm, we can help recover boats when available and bring them in for assessment and repair.
One Shop, Fewer Handoffs
Because we also handle the work the boat is coming in for, transport doesn’t have to be a separate vendor and a separate schedule. We can pick the boat up, haul it, do the work and deliver it back. If you’d rather move a trailer-sized boat yourself, you can rent one of our trailers.

Boat Trailer Rentals
We rent two First Load trailers: a 36-foot tandem-axle trailer and a 28-foot catamaran trailer. Both are rated at 10,000 lb gross weight with an 8,660 lb load capacity and take a 2-5/16″ ball, so check your boat’s loaded weight and your tow vehicle’s rating before you book. Reserve the 36ft First Load or the 28ft First Load Catamaran online, or call us to check availability. Pickup is at our shop.

How much does it cost to transport a boat?
Cost depends on the boat’s size, beam and weight, the trailer setup it needs, the distance and the route. We’ll quote each move after getting those details.
Can you haul my boat out before a hurricane?
We support storm prep with scheduled haul-out and transport when equipment and space are available. Planning ahead of the season gives you the best chance of a spot. Call early in the season to get on the schedule.
Do you move boats to and from residential docks?
Yes, residences are among the places we move boats to and from. Tell us about access at both ends, and we’ll plan the move around it.
