Electronics & Upgrades

Music at the sandbar and lighting that makes a night run easier and the boat look sharp at the dock are two of the most noticeable upgrades you can make. We handle boat audio and lighting in Fort Myers for boat owners across Southwest Florida, from a simple stereo installation or light replacement to complete custom systems.

Brands we work with

Lumitec

Marine Audio

Audio work can include:

  • Head units and remote controls
  • Amplifiers
  • Speakers and subwoofers
  • Wiring and system tuning
  • Troubleshooting existing systems that cut out or sound wrong

We can design a system for better sound quality, more output, or a cleaner, factory-style installation where the components disappear into the boat.

Marine Lighting

Lighting work covers both function and looks:

  • Cockpit and courtesy lighting for safe footing after dark
  • RGB and multi-color systems
  • Underwater lights
  • Cabin and accent lighting
  • Switch upgrades
  • Troubleshooting existing circuits

Lumitec is one of the lighting brands we work with.

Planning an Audio or Lighting Upgrade

The best results start with how you use the boat. A sandbar boat that spends afternoons anchored with guests needs different audio than an offshore boat that runs long distances. Night fishing calls for different lighting than evening cruises. Tell us how you use the boat, where you want sound and light, and what you’d like to keep, and we’ll recommend components and a layout that fit both the boat and your budget.

Built for the Marine Environment

Salt air and moisture find every weak connection on a boat. All of our installations are planned around that, with attention to:

  • Corrosion resistance in connections and components
  • Wire routing that keeps runs protected and serviceable
  • Circuit protection so a fault doesn’t become a bigger problem
  • Battery load, so new gear doesn’t leave you with a dead battery
  • Service access for future repairs

Bigger electrical projects often overlap with marine electronics work. If an upgrade needs a new switch panel or console change, our custom work team can build it, and our parts sourcing can track down components for older boats.

FAQ

Boat Audio & Lighting FAQs

Don’t see yours? Call the shop and talk to the team directly.

Can you upgrade my stereo without replacing everything?

Often, yes. Depending on what’s already installed, we can replace the head unit, add an amplifier or upgrade speakers while keeping wiring that’s still in good shape.

Will new underwater lights drain my battery?

That’s one of the things we plan for. We look at the battery bank and charging system and wire the lights with proper circuit protection so they fit your electrical capacity.

Can you fix lights that stopped working?

Yes. We troubleshoot existing lighting circuits, find the failed connection or component and repair or replace it.
