If your boat pounds, slams or feels unpredictable when the Gulf gets choppy, Seakeeper Ride is built to address exactly that. We handle Seakeeper Ride installation in Fort Myers for boat owners across Southwest Florida, from checking whether your boat is a good fit to integrating the system so it looks and works like part of the boat, not an add-on.

What Seakeeper Ride Does

Seakeeper Ride is an automatic underway vessel attitude control system. It’s designed to reduce the pitch and roll that make a boat pound and feel unpredictable while running. Ride uses transom-mounted controllers, inertial sensing and fast rotary blades to create lift and actively manage the boat’s attitude as conditions change.

According to Seakeeper, Ride can eliminate up to 70% of underway pitch and roll. Seakeeper also lists automatic list control, automatic trim, hole-shot control and coordinated turn functionality among its features.

Ride is a different product from Seakeeper’s gyro stabilizers. Ride works while the boat is moving, using blades at the transom, so it’s designed for running comfort.

Seakeeper Ride Installation Steps

    01

    Compatibility review.

Not every boat and transom suits every Ride model. We evaluate your hull, transom and existing equipment against the manufacturer’s requirements before anything is ordered.

    02

    Installation planning.

We plan controller placement, wiring routes and power so the install is clean and serviceable.

    03

    Installation.

Controllers go on the transom, and the system is wired and mounted to the manufacturer’s specifications.

    04

    Integration.

We connect Ride to the appropriate onboard display and electrical network so you can monitor and adjust it from the helm.

Because Ride ties into the helm, it’s often a good time to look at your marine electronics too. If the transom needs work before blades can be mounted, our structural repair team can address it first.
