Cleaning & Protection

Docking, fenders, lines and everyday use leave their marks on a boat’s most visible surfaces. Yacht Armor is a marine-specific protection film designed to guard high-value boat surfaces against sun, salt, scratches, dock contact, staining and normal wear. We install it in Fort Myers as part of a protection plan for your boat.

Yacht Armor

Where Yacht Armor Goes

We install the film on areas such as:

  • Hullsides, where fenders and dock contact cause the most scuffing
  • Painted or gelcoat surfaces you want to keep looking new
  • Outboard cowlings, which are expensive, exposed and easy to scratch
  • Other high-visibility surfaces that see constant handling or sun

The manufacturer also offers protection for outboards and marine displays, so owners can cover some of the most expensive and most exposed components on the boat.

What the Manufacturer Says About the Film

Yacht Armor describes its Marine Protection Film as UV resistant and self-healing from many light surface scratches. The product is formulated specifically for marine use and is intended to reduce maintenance while preserving the appearance of the finish underneath. Those are the manufacturer’s descriptions; how the film performs on your boat also depends on exposure, use and care.

01

Film, Coating or Both?

Ceramic coating and protection film solve different problems. A ceramic coating adds gloss and makes surfaces easier to clean, but it’s a thin chemical layer. Yacht Armor is a physical film that takes the scuffs and contact a coating can’t. Many owners use film on the high-wear areas and coating everywhere else.

02

Prep Matters

Film installed over oxidation or scratches seals those flaws in. Before installation, we make sure the surface is clean and, where needed, corrected through boat detailing, so the finish under the film is one you’ll be happy to look at.

FAQ

Yacht Armor FAQs

Don’t see yours? Call the shop and talk to the team directly.

How much does Yacht Armor cost?

Cost depends on how much area you want covered, which surfaces, and how much prep the finish needs first. A cowling-only job is a very different scope from full hullsides. We’ll price it after looking at the boat with you.

How long does Yacht Armor last?

Service life depends on sun exposure, how the boat is used and how it’s cared for, so we don’t promise a specific number of years. We’ll go over what to expect for your boat and how to look after the film.

Is Yacht Armor worth it?

If your boat takes regular dock contact or you want to keep high-value surfaces looking new, film is one of the most direct ways to protect them. We’ll show you where it makes the most sense on your boat.
